About Falconcity

Falconcity is a multipurpose mega project in Dubailand that was launched in April 2005. The developer of this residential community is a private company called Falconcity of Wonders LLC, the founder of which is Salem Ahmad Abdullah Almoosa. The company initiated an impressive masterplan to expand Dubai’s tourism sector, as well as to attract a high number of home buyers and investors. The total built-up area of Falconcity is over 41M square feet, and features commercial, residential, leisure and mixed-use neighbourhoods to cater the needs of tourists, residents, visitors and buyers.

Falconcity is not just a name, the project is actually shaped like a falcon to represent the emblem of the UAE and to display the country’s heritage. The original concept and design of the smart city belongs to the US-German architect Esat Farman. The development was presented to the public three times: at Expo 2015, Bombay Exhibition Center 2015, and at Cityscape Global 2016.
